to ISPs.
Although as stated above, Worldwide Whistleblowers reserves the right to take any necessary action, the current Abuse
Action Plan is posted at /home/forum/viewtopic.php?showtopic=1
for review by posters and to help resolve any controversy
encountered in the implementation of this Action Plan.
Worldwide Whistleblowers will collect an IP address from every user who posts on the site. If a user chooses to register a profile,
a valid e-mail address will also be collected. All other information users may supply is voluntary.
The IP address and e-mail address (if provided) are not visible to other users of the site. They are, however,
visible to the moderator. Therefore no poster should assume they are anonymous even if they do not provide
any identifying information. The IP address collected may be used by Worldwide Whistleblowers to track down perpetrators in
cases where these Terms are violated.
"Cookies" are used by the board to identify repeat visitors. They are stored on your own computer (not
on Worldwide Whistleblowers) and are not used to collect information, track online activity, or any other privacy violating
purpose.
Worldwide Whistleblowers will not disclose the information collected about posters under normal circumstances. They would
certainly never be sold to other 3rd parties or anything like that! The only exceptions would be legal or abuse-related cases as described in the section on Content.
